Solex Energy’s ₹4,000 Cr Bet on India's Green Future

Solex Energy has unveiled an ambitious growth strategy targeting a revenue potential exceeding ₹4,500 crore by the financial year 2028, supercharged by an expansive multi-vertical pivot. Announced during the company’s 12th Annual General Meeting, Solex has committed a historic ₹4,000 crore investment program spanning FY27 to FY30. This capital outlay will fund its transition from a traditional solar module provider into a fully integrated green energy platform. The growth roadmap outlines building 2.2 GW of solar cell manufacturing capacity by FY28 (scaling to 5.2 GW by early FY29) alongside the deployment of a major Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) initiative, targeting 5 GWh in its initial phase. These strategic moves are designed to fortify supply chain resilience, maximize cost efficiencies, and amplify the company's footprint across India's domestic renewable manufacturing ecosystem.
